i feel i should have been more diligent about my author citations at the end of this essay.  i gave no one any reason to read any of those authors i have enjoyed so much

      i shall start with Colin Cotterill who is English, lives in Thailand and writes very exciting mystery/cum histories of perhaps predominantly Laos.  They are super exciting, informative, well written and with fine humor.  two titles:  the attention grabber:  "Grandad There's A Head On the Beach", but mostly those involving DrSiri in Laos one of which is "Coroner's Lunch", another "Disco  For the Departed."  Highly recommended.
